Requested scope
Buyer-defined cut, fiber content, fabric weight, size run, artwork, pieces and destination.
Normalize supplier responses in one matrix
Compare the proposed garment and commercial scope before deciding which factory response to pursue. We are the independent sourcing service coordinating questions, not the manufacturer.

Buyer-defined cut, fiber content, fabric weight, size run, artwork, pieces and destination.
Named style, deviations, sample basis, charges, timing assumptions and exclusions.
This ledger is a review worksheet. It contains no current price, minimum order or verified supplier result. Write “unconfirmed” where a response is missing rather than treating a blank as included.
| Compare | Requested | Supplier response to obtain |
|---|---|---|
| Material and cut | Fiber content, fabric weight in gsm, sleeve and panel construction | Proposed construction, style reference and deviations |
| Size and quantity | Size system, points of measure, pieces per size/colorway | Size chart, proposed tolerances and minimums by variant |
| Decoration and labels | Artwork revision, panel coverage, placements and label scope | Decoration method, proof/sample route and separate charges |
| Sample | Fit, artwork and material questions to review | Sample configuration, charge and what remains unrepresented |
| Packaging | Individual pack, pack ratio and carton marking | Pieces per carton, gross weight and carton dimensions |
| Timing and terms | US destination, requested date and delivery scope | Approval dependencies, quote validity, freight and exclusions |
For a planning example, 120 pieces split into six sizes is a quantity allocation; it is not 120 pieces in every size. Give the actual counts rather than assuming an even split. Ask suppliers to state whether minimums apply per design, colorway or total order.
A premium preference may prioritize development support or decoration complexity; an economical preference may prioritize an existing cut or simpler packaging. Record those routes separately. The preferred tier is a buyer instruction and not a verified quality ranking.
A related sample can explain appearance but may omit the requested artwork or size. State exactly which decisions it can support and request the missing checks.
A fabric brochure cannot establish the finished rash guard's sun-protection rating, colorfastness or stretch behavior. Ask for exact-item test evidence, item identity, method and conditions when a claim is required. Sourcing coordination is not testing or certification.
Normalize currency, sample charges, artwork setup, labels, packaging, freight and destination charges actually stated. Compare total procurement scope only after differences are visible; missing costs remain unresolved.

Submit the garment, pieces by variant, US destination and target timing. Include a budget and the scope it covers if known. Factory responses still require buyer review.
