RASH GUARD PROCUREMENT · SIZE RUN / ARTWORK / PACK SCOPE

From buyer request to supplier questions

Custom rash guard BJJ sourcing stages

A close fit, a printed design and a size label are separate decisions. Our independent sourcing role is to organize them into a brief suppliers can answer.

  3. Identify artwork, sample and delivery decisions.

A procurement dossier with approval gates

Requirement alignment

Start with garment type, intended BJJ use, fiber content and requested fabric weight. If a specification is open, mark it as a question rather than presenting an assumed property. Separate required features from acceptable alternatives, including sleeve length, collar shape, panel layout and label placement.

Submit a size run in pieces, with one measurement system and a clear distinction between body and garment dimensions. Agree points of measure and supplier-proposed tolerances before approving a sample. A small adult garment cannot be assumed to establish a youth pattern.

Factory search and quotation scope

Supplier matching uses the stated cut, size quantities, artwork and pack ratio. Ask candidate suppliers to identify the proposed style and whether their response includes development, printing, labels, individual packaging and cartons. Minimums may differ by colorway or artwork; the supplier must explain those conditions.

Request quoted currency, validity, sample charges, production assumptions and delivery scope to the named US destination. Freight exclusions stay visible. We do not declare stock or a fixed shipment date before a supplier confirms the applicable configuration.

Sample coordination

Use a review sheet for fit, seam placement, artwork alignment and label content. Link every comment to the sample revision and reviewer. A fit sample without final artwork can help settle dimensions, but cannot approve print execution; a printed swatch cannot approve the complete garment.

Order questions and handover

Record unresolved substitutions, carton dimensions, pack counts and document requests before a purchasing decision. Buyer approval and written supplier confirmation remain separate gates. Inspection, testing and logistics scope require their own confirmation; sourcing coordination does not certify the product.

Questions a product listing cannot settle

Does the quoted garment match the approved sample?

Ask for a style reference, material record, size chart and revision-controlled artwork. Review differences explicitly. A related catalog sample is a reference, not approval for a changed construction.

Can the performance language be used?

Request documents tied to the exact proposed item, the relevant method and conditions. We make no sun-protection, colorfastness or fabric-performance claim. CPSC's standards index can help scope further questions; it is not evidence that a supplier or garment complies.

Request the scope you actually need

Include the specification revision, quantity by size, decoration and US destination. An optional budget helps compare trade-offs without requiring an existing quote.

Use the comparison matrix to retain exclusions, or read the procurement brief before submitting.
